Function

The job holder will have the responsibility to support the finance manager EMEA with the reporting and analysis of the company’s key financial metrics, and to provide insightful information to the business. Moreover, he/she will support the finance department with various accounting and treasury tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and consolidate all financial reports required by US Headquarter during the monthly closing process;
• Provide analysis of budget/forecast/prior year variances during the month-end close process;
• Assist in consolidating, reporting and analysing budget, forecast, and the long-range plan;
• Support with information needs from the Business, US Headquarter and Senior Management;
• Develop new reporting and optimize existing ones to identify key focus area for the Business;
• Ensuring spending is kept in line with the budget (monitoring) for specific items;
• Revise the Capital Expenditure requests prepared by the factories and monitor the actual spending;
• Assist in implementing new Financial and ERP systems;
• Assist in various accounting tasks (preparation of audits, financial statements, fiscal and VAT declarations);
• Assist in various treasury tasks (liquidity, financing, credit risk and FX management);
• Help provide advice on the financial implications and consequences of business decisions (OPEX/CAPEX/Net Working Capital);
• Monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements where needed;
• Participate in special projects as assigned by Finance management.

Your profile
__

• You hold a Master in accounting, finance or economics;
• You have at least 3-5 years of work experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), controlling or audit;
• You have excellent skills with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook);
• Exposure to multidimensional reporting applications is essential (e.g. Hyperion, TM1, Oracle);
• Manufacturing experience is an asset;
• You are fluent in English. French and/or Dutch are assets;
• You have the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
• You have a high attention to detail;
• You are already residing in Belgium.
